Maintenance Fitter
Location: : Sheffield, S9 - South Yorkshire
Rate: £ 20 to £ 25 K (full-time (per year))
A world leading producer of Stainless Steel urgently require a Maintenance Fitter to ensure the smooth running of operations on site in Sheffield. The generous package has a salary range of £20 – 25k for a 3 shift system, a quarterly production related bonus payment, pension scheme, life assurance and a holiday entitlement of 28 days including statutory bank holidays which increases according to length of service.
Duties for this position will incorporate all aspects of Maintenance Fitting, liasing with Maintenance Electricians, Production Crews answering to the Shift Manager. Experienced in Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Chemical Machines, Gearboxes, Cranes, Burning, Welding equipment, Heavy Metals and a Steel Processing Environment. Co-ordinating of planned maintenance activities therefore maintaining machine availability to ensure production is not interrupted.
The successful Candidate will demonstrate a keen awareness of all Health & Safety Environmental Legislative Requirements. They will be a time served, papered, apprentice trained individual who possesses a higher engineering qualification with experience within a similar steel processing environment.
