Poultry Farm Workers needed for an industry leading company within the food production sector based near Wem, Shropshire. The Poultry Farm Workers will be working full time and long term ongoing on a temporary to permanent placement, working 12 full weeks through Swift Temps Ltd before being offered a permanent contract through the company.

• Hours of work : 7am to 4pm
• Days of work: 6on /2 off rota ( will involve some weekend work)

Farm Operative duties will include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining animal welfare
• Completing animal welfare checks
• Disposing and replenishing of bedding
• Moving livestock by hand
• General farm cleaning, including power washing, sweeping and shovelling
• Loading the incinerator
• Working at heights when required
• General yard work
• Assist with chicken turn around and chicken catching

There are no public transport linksto this rural location, and due to the nature of the work being on a farm your own personal, safe, reliable transport is required. Anybody without access to their own reliable transport will not be considered.

Previous experience in a similar environment is essential due to the nature of the role. All applicants must be aware that these positions are based on a poultry farm and are subject to the elements.
